City of Eagle Business Licensing: The City of Eagle Clerk’s office is responsible for the regulation of business licenses.
City of Eagle Economic & Community Development: This office serves as the single point of contact for information regarding the City's economic development projects and activities. They assist site selection consultants, developers, brokers, entrepreneurs, and businesses with start-up, relocation and expansion in Eagle. They provide free and confidential services to existing Eagle companies, and to new companies considering the City of Eagle as their location choice.
Eagle Chamber of Commerce: The Eagle Chamber of Commerce provides members with opportunities to come together for monthly programs, committees and annual events while promoting business, addressing issues of common concern and contributing to the larger Treasure Valley business community.
State Agencies and Resources
Idaho Department of Agriculture: The Idaho State Department of Agriculture was established in 1919 to serve and regulate this cornerstone industry.
Idaho Department of Environmental Quality: DEQ is a state department created by the Idaho Environmental Protection and Health Act to ensure clean air, water, and land in the state and protect Idaho citizens from the adverse health impacts of pollution.
Idaho Department of Labor: The Idaho Department of Labor connects business, education and workforce; link job seekers with employers; and help people with career and life transitions.
Idaho Department of Finance: Report financial abuse or fraud.
Idaho Industrial Commission: The Idaho Industrial Commission regulates workers compensation activities in Idaho.
Idaho National Laboratory - Patent Information: INL is operated for the Department of Energy and provides unique educational, management, research and scientific assets into a world-class national laboratory.
Idaho Nonprofit Center: The Idaho Nonprofit Center represents the interests of our state’s 6,000 registered charitable nonprofit organizations and serves as a broker of information and a bridge between the nonprofit, for-profit and government sectors.
Idaho Secretary of State: The Idaho Secretary of State offers services for trademarks, notary public, lien filings, assumed business name registration, secured transactions, annual business report filing, and more.
Idaho State Tax Commission: The Idaho State Tax Commission provides information on Sales, Use Tax and income withholding tax.
International Trade Office Services: The Idaho Department of Commerce are staffed full-time with trade office managers who are native to their country and experts in the business.
Small Business Development Center: Offers a wealth of free or low-cost information to help educate and support small business owners, inventors, and entrepreneurs.

Small Business Administration (SBA): A Lead Economic Development Specialist from the Small Business Administration is assigned to Eagle and will come out to visit with you. U.S. Export Assistance (Boise Office): The U.S. Commercial Service is the lead trade promotion agency of the U.S. government. U.S. Commercial Service trade professionals in over 100 U.S. cities and more than 75 countries help U.S. companies get started in exporting or increase sales to new global markets.
U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) - The Internal Revenue Service is the nation's tax collection agency and administers the Internal Revenue Code enacted by Congress. Obtain information on tax filing, refunds, credits, and deductions, and find forms and instructions for Individuals, employers and employees.
U.S. Social Security Administration - Providing information on social security, retirement, disability, medicare, and more.

Boise State Venture College: Venture College is a Boise State resource hub for all students and faculty to learn skills that help them become entrepreneurial and innovative thinkers. They offer foundational learning, experiential learning, incubator program, entrepreneurial resources, mentoring, pitch practice, competitions and workshops.
Collabortank: Collabortank is Boise’s preeminent training and startup launch program, helping aspiring entrepreneurs in the Treasure Valley build enduring companies. Collabortank’s express purpose is to affirm, equip, inspire, and grow those that may otherwise never start a business venture, create jobs, or realize the freedom of self-direction.
Idaho Biz Help: Idaho Biz Help is a source for small business solutions offered by the State of Idaho. It provides information to help you start or grow your business, along with news and frequently asked questions.
Idaho Technology Council: The Idaho Technology Council exists to connect, inform and promote the technology companies in Idaho and is dedicated to foster the growth of technology companies in the state, primarily in the areas of information technology, Agri-science, and energy.
Idaho Works: Idaho Department of Labor website with information on education, careers, labor market, hiring, training, and other valuable programs.

New Ventures Lab: New Ventures Lab is a hybrid co-working space specifically designed for turning ideas into businesses. It is a combination of spaces and processes intended to help you first discover if your idea is a business and then actually start and grow a successful business.
SCORE: SCORE® is a nationwide organization of active and retired businessmen and women who volunteer their services to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Small Business Learning Center: The Small Business Learning Center offers a wealth of free information on financing, managing a business, marketing, starting a business and more.
Small Business Trends: The Small Business Trends website that offers news, trends, advice and resources for small businesses.
Startup Grind: The Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting more than 2,000,000 entrepreneurs in over 600 chapters. They nurture startup ecosystems in 125+ countries through events, media, and partnerships with organizations like Google for Startups.
Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center: The Northwest Trade Adjustment Assistance Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping U.S. companies grow and prosper in a globalized economy.
SBDC Accelerators: The Small Business Development Center offers two accelerator locations. One in Boise and one in Nampa. These spaces offer everything from industrial space to finished office space. Accelerators offer one-on-one business consulting, and innovative programs aimed at giving companies the right resources at the right time.
TechConnect: TechConnect provides strategic technology prospecting and commercialization services through a large network of active innovators world-wide. Each year TechConnect prospects, vets, and connects thousands of emerging technologies for our industry, investment, and government clients.
