What's the hold up at Merrill Park?

merrill park

The City of Eagle is in the process of replacing the splash pad and play structure at Reid Merrill Park. Construction started in the Fall of last year but is currently on hold pending warmer weather. Though some of the play equipment looks ready to play on, the structure is not safe for use yet. Crucial safety features still need to be installed.

Once the weather warms up we will put the finishing touches on the playground and splash pad. We anticipate that the project will be completed by Memorial Day Weekend this year. Once complete, Merrill Park will have a new play structure, swings, ADA accessible equipment, and a 60% bigger splash pad. Thank you for your patience during this project!
