1. How big will the expanded city hall be?

When complete the expanded City Hall will be 23,000 square feet.

2. How tall will the building be?

28 feet. The tallest part of the building is the City Council Chambers which is part of the existing structure.

3. How much parking will there be?

• 100 parking spaces
• 14 bike rack spaces. 

The City of Eagle is also working on parking agreements with surrounding businesses to accommodate overflow parking after business hours.

4. What are the building's setbacks?

• EAST: 8’-11"
• WEST: 73’-00"

5. When does it construction start and how long will construction take?

Construction will begin in June of 2021 and is expected to last a year.

6. What time of day will construction happen?

During the daytime.

7. What are the portable buildings in the city hall parking lot for?

During construction, some city staff will be working from temporary offices in the parking lot. When construction is complete, they will move back into the building, and the portable offices will be removed.

8. Who is involved with designing and building the expansion?

Last year, the City of Eagle published “Requests for Qualifications” for both architectural design services and construction management services. The selected design firm was BRS Architects and the selected construction management firm was Wright Brothers Construction.

9. How is the City paying for the expansion?

The City is using funds from the sale of the Landing, as well as funds that were earmarked to improve the Landing. The City Hall Expansion project will not raise your taxes.
