The City of Eagle is proud to announce that Eagle Economic Development Director Robin Collins is one of 2021's Idaho Women of the Year Honorees. Each year the Idaho Business Review selects 50 women leaders from across the state who have made a mark on their industries and are paving the way for future generations.
Robin Collins has over three decades of experience in municipal government, specializing in Building, Economic Development, Community Development, and municipal planning. She started at the City of Eagle in 2018 and was hired to build the Economic Development Department from the ground up. In her time with the city, Robin has recruited new businesses and quality employers to Eagle and helped retain and promote existing businesses with new services and quality of life upgrades. She also served as the Executive Director for the Eagle Urban Renewal Agency until 2020. Recently Robin worked with the Idaho Department of Commerce to help PetIQ build its new headquarters in Eagle. She is also in the process of creating a Downtown Eagle Advisory Board, with the ultimate goal of creating a Downtown Business Association and Business Improvement District in downtown Eagle.
Robin is one of 50 honorees for the Women of the Year Awards. According to the Idaho Business Review, each year the top winner is announced as the Woman of the Year (based on scores from the judges and IBR staff members) at the awards gala on September 30 at the Boise Centre.
Congrats Robin! Everyone here at the City of Eagle is rooting for you!
