1. How do I sign up to sponsor or donate to Downtown Eagle?

Any individual, organization or company may choose to participate in the programs by filling out:

1. A sponsorship form, OR
2. A silent donation form 

2. How does the sponsorship or donation work?

There are two (2) sponsorship programs available:

1. Downtown Beautification General Sponsorship Program - A program that uses funds to help pay for the purchase, installation, and maintenance costs of; hanging flower baskets, flower pots, banners, trash receptacles, benches, bike racks, seating tables, game tables, holiday decorations, and various other arts and cultural items.
2. Downtown Light Pole Sponsorship Program - A program that helps fund the cost of decorating and/or, maintenance of light poles in front of your business or someone else's business in the downtown, where the poles ARE NOT owned by the City.  These services would be provided by the City of Eagle during your sponsorship period.  Each sponsorship is valid for 1-year and must be renewed annually to continue these services past the sponsorship period.

A sponsor may choose to participate in one or both of the programs listed above. 

3. How do I benefit from my sponsorship and/or donation?

Sponsors

All sponsors will receive direct benefits as listed on the sponsorship form and this webpage.  In addition to the direct benefits, all sponsors will:

1. Increase the awareness of your product or brand;
2. Shape or reinforce public perception of your brand attributes;
3. Align your organization with a particular lifestyle (i.e. family events);
4. Differentiate your products or services from your competitors; 
5. Support the efforts in building and maintaining a vibrant, attractive, safe, clean and usable Downtown; 
6. Publicly display your commitment to your community; and,
7. Tax deduction for your contribution.

Donors

Although donors are "silent" and do not receive public recognition, they will benefit by:

1. Giving back to the community;
2. Supporting the efforts in building and maintaining a vibrant, attractive, safe, clean and usable Downtown; 
3. and,
4. Tax deduction for your donation.

4. How do I pay for my sponsorship or donation?

Once your sponsorship and/or donation form has been submitted, the City of Eagle will review and verify all information necessary has been submitted.  Once they have completed their review, staff will contact you about methods for submitting your monetary sponsorship or donation contribution.  At your request, the City of Eagle will provide you or your organization with a tax deductible receipt.

5. Can I participate in the Downtown Beautification General Sponsorship Program AND the Light Pole Program?

Yes, absolutely.  Sponsors may choose to contribute towards the general sponsorship program which helps fund the purchase, installation, and maintenance of decor and furnishings for downtown, and to contribute towards the decor and/or maintenance of privately owned light poles.  In addition, the city has sponsorship opportunities for public events and activities through the "Liven-Up" Downtown Eagle program.  For more information on that program, click here (coming soon)

6. How do I find out if a light pole is owned by the City or not

If you need to know if the light pole(s) on your property, or the light pole(s) on a property you are wishing to sponsor are owned by the City or privately owned, click here.

7. Does the City make a profit on the sponsorships?

No.  All sponsorships and/or donations will be placed in a dedicated fund to be spent in Downtown Eagle only.  All sponsorships and donations will only be spent on items as listed on the sponsorship and donation form.

8. How do I sponsor or donate towards events and/or activities?

The City has a special sponsorship and donation program that goes directly to helping fund events and/or public activities in Downtown.  You can find more information on this program by visiting www.cityofeagle.org (COMING SOON)
